Log a trip in a shared vehicle from its QR code, without signing in.
Quick start
- Type Your name or initials the first time.
- The date and Start km are filled in from the last trip.
- Add a Description: where and why, like “Client visit, Smith St”.
- End km starts with the right first digits. Add the last three, or photograph the odometer and it’s read for you.
- Business or personal, then Add journey.
Tips
- The description is what the ATO looks for: “Site visit, Smith St” beats “work”.
- Not there yet? Save without the end reading and add it when you arrive. The trip waits at the top of the form, and isn’t counted until it’s finished.
Your trips
Added from this phone lists what you’ve logged. You can change them for a few days after adding them. You can’t see anyone else’s trips.
When things go wrong
- It won’t open: the QR code may have been replaced or stopped, or the vehicle isn’t shared any more. Ask the owner.
- Changed phone or cleared the browser: new trips still work. Earlier ones can’t be changed from the new phone.
